For the second year in a row, Travis County’s nearly 40 percent voter turnout, surpassed state turnout. The county won the Stephen F. Austin "Champions of the Republic Award" for its voter participation. The travis County Clerk accepted the award and hopes to increase voter turnout even more in the upcoming May 12 election.
