The new, ambitious Mueller Community in Austin.

When the Austin airport was relocated in 1999 the 711-acre site became the ideal location for a new, vibrant community in the heart of Austin. This award-winning project was designed to offer residents and visitors a mixed-use that would invigorate economic growth.  This community focuses on mass-transit options and pedestrian-friendly development.  Over 10,000 residents will enjoy the community’s many amenities, including over 100 acres of open space and public parks, affordable housing options, a Town Center for shopping, dining and entertainment options.  It will also create 10,000 new jobs and two new, large commercial employment centers.  It will be easy to live and work in the same area, reducing the need for parking, long drive times or even owning a car.  Other projects are underway in the community but the The Dell Children’s Medical Center, and the Austin Studio for Filmmaking have already been finished and are very successful.

There are four residential areas in the Mueller Community. From beautiful, single-family homes with yards for the kids to play in, to row houses or live & work "shop houses", multi-family homes, apartment complexes and townhomes, the diversity of each neighborhood as well as the endless opportunities within each neighborhood makes this an ideal location to call home.
