Meet the center’s friendly coyote and red-tail hawk who like to welcome all visitors from their home in the Wildlife Exhibits. Children will have lots of fun uncovering prehistoric bones and fossils in the Dino Pit, imitating the Texas fossil hunters of past and present.
The Naturalist Workshop and Trade Counter lets curious spectators explore natural science and add to their own collections by trading their own favorite rocks, seeds, shells or other cool natural relics for points that can be redeemed for minerals, animal bones, polished rocks and more.
