Onion Creek Golf Club in Austin, Texas was founded in 1974 by Jimmy Demaret the legendary three-time Masters Champion and the golf icon Jimmie Connolly. In 1996, Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore, added an additional holes to the original design of Demaret, creating a uniquely unforgettable 27-hole golf course. In 2005 the course was named "Best Private Course" by Texas Golfer Magazine and in 2006 it was named "Best Private Club in Austin under $10,000" by Avid Golfer.
The club was founded on the philosophy of friendliness, camaraderie and fun and every aspect of Onion Creek Club embodies this from the family friendly recreation, fitness and dining options to the varied social activities that seek to bring neighbors together.
