Groundbreaking will take place this June on a new, 181,000-square-foot, indoor event center in Cedar Park. According to the Austin Business Journal, the building itself will have 6,800 seats and "will host the Dallas Stars‘ American Hockey League Affiliate – to be named the ‘Texas Stars.’"
The complex will also include 16 acres of mixed-use land, with 91,000 square-feet of business development and an equal amount of retail space.
The center should open by June, 2009.
