More amenities coming to Mueller in Austin Texas
Mueller is a 700 acre site that use to be Austin’s former airport and has been redeveloped as an extensive residential master-planned community.
Within this development, residents can enjoy shopping at Home Depot, Marshall’s, Best Buy and now a new Staple’s store. Also coming to Muller in the very near future is Frost Bank a 4,500 square foot financial center.
Another addition to Mueller is a new senior housing complex. This complex will offer 200-units and will be located just south of the former airport’s control tower. This senior housing community is scheduled to break ground in the spring of 2010.
All of these projects will feature green building solutions such as energy and water-efficient measures.

Mueller Austin is certainly an interesting mixed use development. You’ve touched on the commercial tenants, and there are some great green homes there too.
