This list is titled “The Fastest Growing Cities in the US” and Austin is ranked number one. The last list put out by the magazine placed Austin as the number one city for jobs. What places Austin in first place for “Fastest Growing”? The Texas capital is emerging as a major contender for technology, has a booming population, and is attracting business to its area. Job growth, the quality of available education, the availability of quality jobs and the reasonable cost of living is expected to continue to attract an educated population to the Austin Texas area.
