The lastest numbers out of Cedar Park show substantial growth last year, according to the Austin Business Journal. While 2006 showed growth of 6%, 2007′s number climbed to 10.5%. The city, located about 30 miles northwest of Austin, now has a population of 22,500.
Though the substantial growth doesn’t quite compare with the 45% jump seen in 1995, the city planning department projects a population of 68,000 by 2015.
