The AMOA Laguna Gloria location is the museum’s original home. The museum is home to a restored 1916 Italianate-style villa that use to belong to Texas legend Clara Driscoll. The villa is an intimate setting for art exhibitions and art discussions. The museum is situated on 12-acres of lush grounds perfect for strolling around lovely Lake Austin and enjoying the sculpture garden.
The Austin Museum of Art-Laguna Gloria has been declared a national treasure and is considered a city, state and national historic place. The Art School is also located at this site. Offering more than 400 classes to encourage both adults and children to artiscally express themselves.
