Austin, Texas, home of Robert Rodriguez’s production company, is gearing up for the premiere of "Grindhouse", starring Kurt Russell and largely filmed at the Texas Chili Parlor last summer.
Downtown Austin will roll out the klieg lights Hollywood-style on Wednesday night. Preparations are underway at the Paramount Theater for yet another movie premiere, much of which was shot in the hilly central Texas town of Austin.
“Grindhouse” is a double feature containing two movies by directors Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez.
The Austin Film Society welcomes the stars, cast and crew to the World Premiere event.
